Write Something
Today, take a minute (or more) and write something.
Putting our thoughts on paper is one of the most cathartic and inspirational things we can do for ourselves.
Six years ago, I started a 1-Minute-Mindfulness FB page and committed to daily posts. (I share them here occasionally.)
It forces me into a disciplined creative venture.
I call myself a writer — but believe me, sometimes I call my thoughts “dribble,” and some days, I am reluctant to share.
However, I believe we all have something to share — a story to relate.
And we owe it to ourselves to capture our thoughts and make sense of them.
I saw something yesterday that said, “Writers write for themselves and choose to share.”
I might add, not for approval or validation, but for the sheer joy and potential of connecting with someone who just may have needed to hear what they had to say that day.
So, share your thoughts.
It may be just what someone needed to hear.
And for those who want to keep their thoughts private, a simple daily gratitude list works wonders.
Keep shining and pass the glow.
