Wait a Minute
Today, take a minute (or more) and wait. We often want to act immediately when our emotions grab hold of us. There is a feeling of urgency when we have mood swings. We may speak without constraint. We may make life-changing impulsive decisions. Perhaps, we reach for something to dull our senses. This is a good time to reach for our journal or go to our yoga mat or meditation spot. Can you commit to taking some time before you act when feeling overwhelmed, angry, or frustrated?
