Soften Your Gaze

Feb 25, 2025

--

Today, take a minute (or more) and soften your gaze.

Gurus often use this phrase during meditation or yoga.

This is the practice called ‘Drishti’ in Sanskrit, which directs your gaze to a specific point without straining your eyes.

But can we look at this metaphorically?

How about softening how we see others — offering curiosity instead of criticism — empathy instead of assumption?

How about softening how we see ourselves — offering grace instead of judgment and kindness instead of doubt?

What if this became a daily practice?

Today, try softening your gaze — not just with your eyes, but with your heart.

See what shifts.

Pass the glow.
