Reclaim Your Power
Today, take a minute (or more) and think about how to regain your power.
I’m reading “The Yamas & Niyamas” again by Deborah Adele.
She talks about dealing with powerlessness.
She says, “By powerless, I mean those times we feel like we’ve run out of choices, and we respond with anger, withdrawal, frustration, or resignation.”
I highlighted resignation — as I’ve reached points at times when I just said, “What does it matter?”
Maintaining our personal power and believing in ourselves is essential to continue moving forward.
Her suggestions for regaining our power were practicing gratitude and trust in the moment.
I’ve often emphasized that trusting that every stage of our lives is essential to get to the next level.
