Overreach — Yes or No?

Today, take a minute (or more) to think about overreach.

I was just rejected from a job I really wanted as a copywriter for my favorite meditation guru — what a punch in the gut.

My first thought was that it was an overreach, and I needed to stop doing that so I don’t feel these intense disappointments.

It’s true that when we overreach, we must be prepared to face piles and piles of disappointments.

So, what do we do?

It’s the same answer as always.

If we want to grow and progress, we must continually push ourselves out of our comfort zone, accept the rejections, and move on.

It’s a tough day today.

I’m going to marinate in my emotions.

Tomorrow, I’ll move on to the next challenge.
