Joyful Seeds
Today, take a minute (or more) and ask yourself, “What’s not wrong.” In the book “Peace is Every Step,” Thich Nhat Hanh says, “We often ask, what’s wrong. But doing so invites painful seeds of sorrow. We would be happier if we stayed in touch with the joyful seeds. We should learn to ask what’s not wrong and be in touch with that.” If we start our day making a mental or written list of what’s not wrong — we immediately will discover things to be grateful for and create an optimistic blueprint for the remainder of the day. What joyful seeds can you plant today in your thoughts?
