August 6 — Mindful Minute
Today, take a minute (or more) and be amazed. One definition of amaze is feeling wonder. Sometimes, we need to feel this. We need to be amazed at the possibilities that lie before us. We need to be amazed at the struggles we have plowed through relentlessly. We need to be amazed at the synchronicities that are out there waiting for us to notice. We need to be amazed with all the millions of tiny miracles — seeds sprouting into life — the trees — the sunrises — the storms — the smiles — the ideas — the similarities — the differences. All of it. Our life lies before us wanting to be noticed. Our inner voice lies quietly waiting for us to listen. We need to pay attention to all of it. We need to use our senses — all of them. It’s time to wake up. It’s time to be alive. Do that today. Be amazed just for a minute!
