August 5 — Mindful Minute
Today, take a minute (or more) and clear your head. Have you ever felt like there was a tornado in your head? Our lives can spin out of control and become a vortex of chaos. When this happens, we must stop spinning and settle down. It is essential to put everything down for a minute or a day and get reassessed and get clarity. We must ask ourselves the hard questions. What do we really want? Why are we pushing ourselves? What is the ideal outcome? How can we find peace? I saw a quote today that said, “Clear your mind. Your heart is trying to tell you something.” Release the spinning thoughts by writing, meditation, or a daily walk. Turn down the external noise as often as possible. Breathe in — Breathe out. Today, stop for just a minute, and put your hands on your heart. Listen to your heartbeat. Breathe in — Breathe out. Pass the glow.
